LANDSCAPE + CONSERVATION DESIGN
April 12, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Session 1 – It’s All About Water! – April 12
Session 2 – Managing Risk – April 19
Session 3 – Plants: The Good, Bad + Ugly – April 26
If last summer’s drought and fires got you thinking, if you wondered how to maintain your properties and gardens with less water, reduce your risks from wildfire, reduce conflicts with bears and other wildlife, and what about those pesky invasive plants? These challenges can make a homeowner feel overwhelmed! The good news: Taghum Hall will host a series of three Landscaping Information Sessions: It’s All About Water on April 12; Managing Risks on April 19, and Plants: the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly on April 26. These three free sessions are open to everyone and are followed by two free landscape design workshops as a special bonus for Taghum, Beasley and Bonnington residents. Householders from these areas who attend all three information sessions are eligible to attend two intensive workshops. Property owners who complete a landscape conservation plan for their property may be eligible to receive a free consultation with landscape designer Chris Holt and other experts to discuss their plan. For more information, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or email the project coordinator, Cathy Scott-May at email@example.com.
