Taghum Hall's "Brushes and Lunch" watercolour painting workshop series is happy to present Laura Leeder as workshop leader for June 2018.  Laura's work is visually stunning. Visit her website here! Art Camps for Kids – Summertime

Back by popular demand, this week-long art camp focuses the creative energy of 7 - 12 year olds.  Last year saw musical jams, stained glass creations, face masks and book-making. Outdoor time, ping-pong and great snacks are all part of it! Space is limited for each week-long session: July 16-20 or July 23-27. Parachutes for the Planet

Tuesday, July 31st, 10am-3pm, by donation Why Parachutes? Saving the environment is vital to our health, safety and future, and “parachutes” are a metaphor for this process. These parachutes (non-functional) are circular pieces of cloth decorated with artwork and personal comments about our concerns about the health of our planet. Parachutes can be seen as “safety nets” and when held by groups during demonstrations or collectively displayed in large numbers, they transform into powerful messages of strength, hope and communal…

CONCERT Harpist / Vocalist – Roger Helfrick September 22

Roger Helfrick is a singer and multi-instrumentalist from Edmonton, Alberta.  A classically trained baritone, he accompanies himself on guitar, nylon-strung  lever harp, gut-strung medieval harp and psaltery.
