Watercolour Painting Drop-In, Tuesdays, 10:00am–12:00pm

Yippee!  The Taghum Hall crew would like to invite you back to Watercolour Tuesdays. Face masks are optional. Our long tables allow a 2m distance between participants.

WATERCOLOUR TUESDAYS

Join us!  $5 drop-in.  10 – Noon.  All levels welcome.

Peer supported sessions (no formal instruction).  Supplies available at the hall for your use. Or, just stop in sometime and see if it’s something you’d like to try.

Taghum Hall is bright and spacious; perfect for painting. Watercolour painting is very forgiving, with surprising and often spectacular results. The paint fluidity lends itself to a beautiful mixing and blending. Come try for yourself!

Well behaved dogs are welcome.

Want to paint for longer?  Stay for our “Painting Studio” 12–4 pm (unless the hall is booked for something else that day). $5

(This is pre-COVID. Now we wear masks and keep our distance!)

Earth Day Fest

Local farmers and suppliers of plant starts for the garden will be set up for a fun family-friendly outdoor afternoon and evening at Taghum Hall, 3:30-8pm, Friday, April 22nd. Food is available for purchase. Watch a short Dr. Seuss children’s theatre production outside in the gazebo. There will be a variety of Earth Day informational booths, musical entertainment and children’s activities. Come celebrate Earth Day outside by the river, and shop local!

ADMISSION by donation to support Taghum Hall’s kitchen renovation project!

We received a generous donation from Fortis to install LED lightbulbs throughout the hall! How many volunteers does it take to change a lightbulb? Come down on Earth Day and be counted! THANKS FORTIS !
