About the event
WRITE OFF THE BAT!
Write Off the Bat! is a writing marathon, a juried competition, and a chance to hang with your
fellow writers—and we feed you! How great is that? Note that Write Off the Bat! requires new
writing created on-site that speaks to this year’s theme (to be revealed at the start). Writers
can address the theme in ANY genre: fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, playwriting, or a
combination! Work must be submitted not later than 5pm on Sunday, February 23.
